Scope and publisher
This policy covers glp1rank.org, published under the name GLP1 Rank. “We,” “us” and “our” refer to the publisher of this website. It explains our website practices, not the practices of a healthcare provider or affiliate network you visit through a link. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@glp1rank.org.
Information you choose to provide
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, the contents of your message and attachments, and ordinary message metadata. We use that information to respond, investigate corrections and keep a record of the conversation. Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, prescription details, insurance identifiers, passwords or payment information.
We do not offer patient accounts, treatment applications or checkout on this site. A provider you choose may request sensitive information on its own website; that collection is separate from ours.
Browsing and technical information
Our hosting provider, Vercel, and supporting infrastructure process information needed to deliver and secure the website. This can include IP address, request time, requested URL, browser and device information, and security or error logs. A directory search is submitted in a URL, so its text can appear in requests, browser history and infrastructure logs. Use searches for provider names, not personal or medical information.
With analytics enabled, Google Analytics processes usage information such as pages viewed, browser and device characteristics, approximate geography and interactions with reviews, provider links and sponsored alternatives. Page choices can suggest an interest in a health topic even though we do not ask for a diagnosis. We do not treat this information as a patient record.
Calculators, checklists and comparisons
Calculator amounts and checklist selections are processed in your browser. Our current tools do not submit those values to us or include them in analytics events or affiliate tracking parameters. A result is an estimate, not a stored medical profile. Comparison choices and directory searches can appear in the page URL. Information you copy, print, download or share from a tool is under your control.
Cookies and your choices
Google Analytics cookies are enabled by default on this site unless you opt out. Select Opt out in the cookie notice, or use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. We store that choice in this browser’s local storage. Opting out disables subsequent Google Analytics measurement through our integration and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site.
The choice applies to this browser and device. It does not remove information already collected or change preferences on Google, an affiliate network or a provider’s website. Clearing site storage can erase your choice and return analytics to its default setting. If browser storage is blocked, we may be unable to remember a choice between visits. You can also use browser controls to block cookies or tracking requests.
Our current integration does not automatically change its settings in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Use the site’s Opt out control to disable its analytics; contact us about any applicable privacy rights. Declining analytics does not prevent you from reading reviews or using our tools.
Google Analytics settings
We use Google Analytics to understand readership and improve navigation and content. Our page-view events omit URL query strings and send an empty referrer value. Our custom events identify pages, providers and actions, including opening a review, following a provider link, or viewing, accepting or dismissing a sponsored alternative. We do not send calculator values, checklist answers, email correspondence or directory search text in these events.
Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our integration. This does not mean that Google receives no technical information: loading a Google service involves a network connection and processing under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. Analytics data is not a promise of complete anonymity.
Affiliate links and attribution
Some provider links pass through Katalys/Revoffers to attribute referrals. Our referral links identify our publisher account, the offer, the provider and, where applicable, fixed labels for the source page, placement or link variant. They do not contain your calculator inputs, medical answers or email contents.
When you click, the network and destination can receive ordinary connection information and may use cookies or other identifiers to connect a referral with a later signup or purchase. Affiliate reports may provide click, conversion and commission information. The network and provider determine what information they collect and make available through their own services. Our analytics opt-out does not disable their tracking after you leave GLP1 Rank.
Why we use information
We use information to operate and protect the website, deliver requested pages and searches, respond to correspondence, investigate corrections, measure readership, attribute affiliate activity, maintain business records and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use calculator or checklist answers to decide which sponsored alternative to show. Current alternative placements are based on the provider link selected and available commercial placements.
Who may receive information
Hosting and infrastructure services process website requests. Google processes analytics when enabled. Email services process correspondence. Affiliate networks and providers receive referral information when you follow their links. Professional advisers may receive information where needed for a specific business or legal matter. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or threats to rights and safety.
If the publication is transferred or reorganized, relevant records may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable requirements. We do not publish your email correspondence as a testimonial or forward it to providers for marketing without permission. No policy statement here limits any disclosure required by law.
Retention and security
We retain information only as reasonably needed for its purpose, including correspondence follow-up, security, accounting and legal obligations. Retention varies by category and by the settings and obligations of the service involved; logs, backups and affiliate records can have different lifecycles. We do not promise a single deletion period for all information.
We use access controls and ordinary technical safeguards appropriate to this publication, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Email is not a secure channel for medical records. Deletion requests may be subject to necessary records, legal exceptions and backup cycles.
Privacy rights and requests
Depending on where you live and which laws apply to our activities, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or opt out of certain disclosures. Where applicable, you may appeal a request decision or complain to a privacy regulator. These rights are subject to legal scope and exceptions.
Email contact@glp1rank.org with the subject Privacy request and describe the request and your relationship to the site. Please avoid sending sensitive identification documents initially. We may need proportionate verification or proof of an authorized agent’s authority before disclosing or changing records. We will explain any information needed and any applicable reason we cannot fulfill a request.
We do not sell mailing lists or run personalized advertising campaigns on this site. Legal definitions of “sale,” “sharing” and targeted advertising can extend beyond a direct payment for data. The analytics and affiliate disclosures above explain the actual transfers; use Cookie settings and contact us to exercise any applicable rights rather than assuming a label means no data is exchanged.
Location and children
The publication is intended for an adult audience researching services primarily offered in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries, where privacy rules may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard or a particular legal basis, that requirement is not waived by visiting this site.
We do not direct the site to children under 13 or knowingly seek personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it. Provider eligibility and parental-consent rules are determined by the provider, not by our directory.
External sites and policy changes
Provider websites, affiliate networks and linked resources have their own privacy policies. We do not control their collection, security or retention practices. Review those policies before submitting information. We will update this policy and its revision date when our practices materially change and provide additional notice when required.
