GLP-1 introductory prices: calculate the renewal cost

A lower first payment can hide a different long-term budget. Compare the full period, extra fees and cancellation commitment.

Define what the promotion actually buys

Write down the payment, number of billing periods it covers, quantity supplied and included services. Separate an introductory care discount from medication pricing. If the offer combines multiple products or services, ask which components renew. A low first number cannot answer those questions on its own.

Work through a simple example

Suppose a hypothetical complete monthly package costs $150 for the first month and $300 for each of the next eleven months. The twelve-month total is $3,450, or $287.50 per month on average. The first-month discount saves $150 compared with twelve payments of $300; it does not reduce every month to $150. These are invented arithmetic inputs, not a provider offer.

Normalize the unit before comparing

A calendar month and four weeks are different periods. Use the billing-period calculator when needed, or compare the same number of equal periods in both offers. A medication shipment may cover a different duration from the subscription fee. Keep both schedules visible rather than assuming one shipment equals one billed month.

Find the renewal and cancellation terms

The Remedy Meds agreement illustrates why the selected checkout term and notice deadline matter: renewal is a separate authorization from the next refill request. For any provider, confirm when the promotion ends, whether renewal is automatic and which cancellation action prevents the next charge. Use your actual agreement, not another provider’s deadline.

Do not silently fill missing costs with zero

The FuturHealth pricing explanation says totals depend on the medication and chosen support plan. More generally, a starting amount may leave important components unpriced. Our renewal calculator requires an explicit figure for extra recurring and one-time charges. Enter zero only for a confirmed inclusion or absence of a charge.

Use the result as a budget, not a recommendation

The calculation assumes you keep the plan for the chosen period at the entered rates. It does not predict dose changes, insurance approval, clinical suitability or whether cancellation brings a refund. Compare the commercial commitment and care model alongside the arithmetic. If the exact offer is still unclear, get a written quote before deciding.
