Our take

Hers is worth considering if its app-based support fits how you want to manage care. The key shopping task is understanding the membership alongside the medication plan, rather than treating an introductory payment as the total treatment price.

Reasons to look closer

  • Clearly identified ongoing care fee
  • Published membership cancellation terms
  • App tracking and care-team communication

Keep in mind

Membership cancellation also ends the active medication plan and platform care.

The costs at a glance

CommitmentMonthly membership; medication term varies
Important context$39 introductory month; prescription cost is additional.

Understand the recurring bill first

Hers advertises a $39 first membership month and $149 monthly thereafter. Medication is extra, with its own payment schedule. This is the care price used in our comparison, not an all-in GLP-1 offer. When comparing against a bundled service, request the specific prescription quote and the number of days covered. Only then can you place the two offers on the same basis without giving either one an artificial price advantage.

A familiar brand does not remove plan questions

The membership FAQ describes app tracking and support from a care team. It also says video requirements depend on state and response times may vary. We would choose this format based on how you prefer to communicate, rather than assuming an app means immediate access. Ask about live appointments, the normal follow-up process, and what support is available when you cannot wait for a routine message response. We have not used the service ourselves.

Keep the medication and membership records together

Hers terms describe separate medication billing, including arrangements handled by Gifthealth. Canceling medication does not automatically cancel membership; ending membership also ends its associated medication plan. Our view is that this relationship matters most when transferring care. Before changing services, obtain a written account of which subscription stops, when care access ends, and what happens to a prescription already paid for. A transfer should not depend on guessing how two billing systems interact.

Read the cutoff before authorizing renewal

The terms specify cancellation at least two days ahead of the scheduled renewal. The initial membership payment is nonrefundable, shipped medication cannot be refunded, and partial-period refunds are discretionary. A prepaid supply can also affect when cancellation takes effect. These restrictions make a shorter initial financial commitment worth comparing if you are still uncertain about the program. Save the exact checkout terms, because the payment cadence you choose is more useful than a general promise of flexibility.

Our assessment of the tradeoff

Hers can be a sensible candidate when the service format and total prescription-plus-care quote work for you. It should not win a comparison solely because the introductory number is small. We would compare the second bill, the cost after any prescription promotion ends, and the services you realistically expect to use. Also ask your benefit administrator about reimbursement rather than treating an HSA or FSA reference as automatic approval. The right commercial choice depends on your written offer; suitability for medication is a clinician’s decision.

Before you sign up

  • What happens to care if I cancel membership?
  • Am I paying for several medication months upfront?
  • Which charges are eligible for my HSA or FSA?

Use the answers to compare the exact offer with another provider. A service review cannot determine whether a medication is appropriate for you; that decision belongs with your clinician.
