Our take

QuickMD offers a useful alternative to recurring care memberships: a published fee for each visit. Its value depends on how often follow-up is needed and the separate medication price. A low visit count should never be assumed simply to make an annual budget look smaller.

Reasons to look closer

  • Clearly labeled per-visit fee
  • No membership advertised
  • Prescription can be sent to a chosen pharmacy

Keep in mind

The consultation fee does not purchase a guaranteed prescription or a month of medication.

Important contextMedication is separate. A per-visit fee is not a monthly treatment price; follow-up frequency changes the care budget.

Keep the unit attached to the price

QuickMD’s current weight-loss page lists $99 per visit, with medication priced separately and no membership required. Do not turn that into $99 per month: one appointment and an ongoing care subscription are different purchases. A complete estimate requires the expected number of clinically appropriate visits as well as the pharmacy quote.

The pharmacy bill remains a separate decision

The service says an appropriate prescription can go to a pharmacy of your choice. Its support page describes a clinician evaluation and prescription when appropriate. Before booking, check the practical details: pharmacy access, product availability and how prescription questions return to the clinician. Choosing the pharmacy does not establish its inventory or the amount your plan will pay.

Payment is for assessment, not approval

QuickMD explicitly says a prescription is never guaranteed, including for a repeat patient or someone previously treated elsewhere. That distinction matters when moving between services. A prior prescription can be useful information for a clinician without obliging a new clinician to continue it. Ask for the applicable payment and refund terms before assuming an unsuccessful request is refundable.

Build scenarios instead of guessing follow-up frequency

For illustration only, four $99 visits would total $396 in care fees; twelve would total $1,188. Neither figure includes medication. These are arithmetic examples, not QuickMD’s recommended visit schedule. Ask the treating clinician what follow-up is required, and compare that answer with the services included in a membership plan.

Where this model fits

A per-visit service may appeal to readers who want a defined appointment purchase rather than recurring platform access. Its practical tradeoff is that more visits can change the comparison. We have not booked care or checked a personalized checkout, and our review cannot establish appointment quality, treatment eligibility or current pharmacy availability.

Before you sign up

  • How many follow-up visits should I budget for?
  • Which refill or medication-change requests require another visit?
  • What is the separate pharmacy price?
  • What refund policy applies if no prescription is appropriate?

Use the answers to compare the exact offer with another provider. A service review cannot determine whether a medication is appropriate for you; that decision belongs with your clinician.
