Our take

Strut is straightforward about its cash-pay model and physician messaging. Compare the injectable offer separately from its other formulations and confirm the refill schedule.

Reasons to look closer

  • Explicit cash-pay policy
  • Physician messaging available
  • Public cancellation deadline

Keep in mind

Cancellation requires notice before processing; prescriptions cannot be returned after leaving the pharmacy.

Keep the formulation specific

Strut’s injectable semaglutide page advertises an auto-refill starting price of $149, including provider access and medication. The page also lists free shipping and follow-up care. We identify this as the injectable offer, rather than using it as a price for every Strut treatment. Confirm the refill quantity and timing before turning the headline into a monthly budget.

Insurance is not the intended route

Strut’s FAQ says it operates as a cash-pay service and does not accept insurance. It also says it does not complete insurance prior-authorization or medical-necessity paperwork for reimbursement. If insurance navigation is a priority, this is a meaningful service distinction to consider before spending time on an intake.

Find the processing date

The FAQ permits cancellation with 48 hours’ notice before processing and says prescriptions cannot be returned once they leave the pharmacy. It also describes options to pause or delay subscription orders. Ask for the actual next processing date, since a shipping date and a billing cutoff are not necessarily the same.

Our assessment

Strut may be useful for a shopper who wants a direct cash-pay route and understands which formulation is being quoted. The right comparison is a matching medication package with the same supply period. We have not tested clinician messaging or ordered medication. An attractive refill rate should be weighed alongside your need for insurance assistance, appointment access and flexibility.

Before you sign up

  • What quantity and billing period does $149 cover?
  • Which pharmacy and formulation will be used?
  • When does my next refill enter processing?

Use the answers to compare the exact offer with another provider. A service review cannot determine whether a medication is appropriate for you; that decision belongs with your clinician.
