What the starting subscription includes
Willow’s FAQ lists a starting monthly subscription of $299 including the selected medication, assessment, physician access, care-team support and shipping. It also says medication costs vary with prescription and dosage. Those statements belong together: the starting rate is a comparison reference, not a guarantee that every prescription costs the same. Request the initial and ongoing totals for your selected formulation before deciding whether the bundle fits your budget.
Check the formulation rather than the product family
Willow markets compounded GLP-1 treatment, and its semaglutide page distinguishes the product from an FDA-approved finished medication. A familiar ingredient name does not make different formulations interchangeable. If considering its oral or injectable options, ask the prescriber to explain the evidence, limitations and reason for the exact formulation proposed. This review assesses commercial terms and access; it does not endorse one route or make an effectiveness comparison. See our branded versus compounded guide for the questions to resolve before enrolling.
How cancellation works
The FAQ asks for cancellation at least two business days before the next processing date. It describes a full refund when cancellation occurs before the prescription is sent to the pharmacy, with later requests affecting the following cycle. The terms separately make the more specific subscription and return policies controlling. Save the policy attached to your purchase and get acknowledgment of the request; the date you send a message and the order’s pharmacy status can both matter.
A change in prescription can change the bill
Willow’s terms allow subscription charges to change with the prescription, including dosage or refill frequency, subject to disclosure and any required consent. They also describe automatic recurring payments. A useful comparison should therefore include the renewal schedule and how a changed quote reaches you. Keep the agreed total and ask whether an updated prescription triggers a fresh charge immediately or changes the next scheduled order. See our subscription and refund guide for the questions to resolve before enrolling.
Delivery time starts before the parcel ships
The FAQ separates physician review, pharmacy processing and delivery. Its stated pharmacy processing estimate is two to four business days, followed by approximately two to three days in transit. Those stages are more useful than treating a two-day shipping claim as a two-day enrollment-to-arrival promise. Ask for the dispensing pharmacy and tracking information. If a parcel arrives damaged or temperature-exposed, obtain that pharmacy’s instructions for the actual product rather than relying on a generic storage assumption.
Insurance and outside-pharmacy choices
Willow’s terms say the service does not submit claims to insurers. Its FAQ allows an outside pharmacy that can fill the prescription precisely, but says a platform fee applies and medication is then paid separately. That changes the economics of the standard bundle. Obtain both figures before requesting a transfer. Also confirm current state eligibility for the chosen medication; a state appearing on the company’s service list is not a personal prescribing decision.

Use the answers to compare the exact offer with another provider. A service review cannot determine whether a medication is appropriate for you; that decision belongs with your clinician.
