Levers Health review

Bottle purchases and subscriptions priced differently. The costs, commitments and questions worth considering.

Our take

Levers is useful to compare by bottle quantity, but its landing-page special, product price and subscription obligation need to be reconciled before purchase.

Reasons to look closer

  • Bottle sizes and ingredients published
  • Separate one-time and subscription arrangements described
  • Messaging and shipping included in advertised packages

Keep in mind

A $390 bottle is not a verified monthly treatment price, and subscription terms impose a minimum commitment.

The costs at a glance

Published price reference$390/starter bottle
Displayed compounded semaglutide 5 mg starter-bottle price
MedicationCompounded semaglutide and tirzepatide; formulations vary by product
CommitmentSingle purchases or subscriptions; terms require at least two months for subscription programs
Important contextProduct page shows $390 for 5 mg starter bottle; supply duration depends on prescription. Separate landing page advertises $351/10 weeks and a $277/month subscription, with a $442.50 later 10 mg bottle. Terms specify two-month subscription minimum and 48-hour renewal cutoff.

Compare the bottle before calculating a monthly price

Levers Health's semaglutide product page displays a $390 starter bottle containing five milligrams. A bottle is a defined quantity, while its treatment duration depends on the individual prescription. I would therefore compare this as a bottle purchase rather than label it $390 per month. The page also describes a larger ten-milligram bottle, so ask which size the quoted price actually selects. Request the expected supply duration from the clinician and the corresponding total from support. This keeps a useful quantity-based offer from becoming a misleading monthly comparison when patients may be prescribed different amounts.

The landing-page special is a different offer

A separate semaglutide landing page advertises a new-patient package of ten weeks for $351. It also discusses a later ten-milligram bottle at $442.50 and a $277 monthly subscription. Those figures do not match the product page's starter-bottle display, and the landing page's estimated duration is tied to its described treatment progression. Ask whether the special remains active and whether you qualify for it. Do not combine a promotional first purchase, a permanent-discount claim and the subscription rate into a single imagined plan. A written order summary should identify which offer governs both the first purchase and the refill. Compare the full payment schedule in our plan budget tool before choosing a term.

Ingredients and dose instructions should match the dispensed product

The product page lists semaglutide with glycine and vitamin B12 and publishes concentrations and bottle sizes. It also notes that the illustration can differ by pharmacy. These details help frame questions, but the actual pharmacy label remains essential. Ask for the precise formulation, dispensing pharmacy and instructions for the bottle being prescribed. An ingredient addition does not, by itself, establish better results or fewer side effects. The page states that compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Keep that distinction visible when comparing Levers with branded treatment, and avoid treating a product photograph as confirmation of the prescription you would receive. The consultation and messaging are part of the purchase

Levers says a valid prescription is required and that a practitioner reviews the intake before treatment approval. The FAQ describes account messaging with a response within twenty-four hours and says patients are not charged unless approved. Ask how that support works after the first order, including whether a video appointment can be arranged when needed and what information is required before a refill. Someone who values scheduled visits should request their frequency explicitly. Included messaging can be useful, but it should not be assumed to provide the same experience as regular appointments with a dedicated clinician.

A subscription has a two-month minimum in the terms

Levers' terms distinguish single purchases from subscription programs and require at least a two-month commitment for subscriptions. They also state that stopping the payment method does not remove the remaining payment obligation. For ordinary cancellation after that requirement, the published cutoff is forty-eight hours before monthly processing. Ask support to identify the selected product's status and minimum term before paying. This is particularly important if a landing page emphasizes flexible plans. A one-time bottle order and a monthly program may have different prices and financial consequences even when they involve the same medication and clinician network. Our guide to GLP-1 cancellation and refund policies explains the differences between stopping renewal and recovering an existing payment.

Refund timing starts before the package arrives

The return policy says compounded pharmacy orders generally cannot be returned once placed with the pharmacy, with damage or loss handled separately. It describes contacting the company before pharmacy processing to request a refund, typically within a short window. That means the relevant deadline may be much earlier than delivery. Ask how you will know the pharmacy order has been submitted and what happens if a clinician changes the plan after payment. Keep your receipt and any service messages together. For a damaged or missing shipment, report the delivery issue directly rather than assuming a subscription cancellation resolves the current order.

State availability and payment method still need checking

Levers publishes a state list in its FAQ, while its terms contain a longer operating-state list. Rather than choosing whichever list is more convenient, ask whether the selected clinician and pharmacy can serve your physical location and shipping address today. The FAQ says insurance is not accepted and advertises HSA/FSA payment. That does not establish reimbursement eligibility under a particular benefits plan. If you plan to use those funds, request an itemized receipt and confirm the administrator's requirements. Resolve location and payment questions before counting on a refill, especially when travel or a move could change where care occurs.

Who is Levers most useful for?

Levers may appeal to a self-pay shopper who likes choosing between a defined bottle quantity and a subscription. It becomes a stronger comparison when the company confirms which public offer is current, how long the prescribed quantity lasts and what commitment applies. I would put the actual first payment beside the expected refill charge and compare the care arrangements at the same time. Someone who wants a single stable monthly number should request that explicitly rather than infer it from a bottle price. If the offer remains unclear, another written quote gives you a better basis for deciding whether the flexibility is valuable. Before you sign up

  • Which semaglutide offer is currently valid for my prescription?
  • What duration will the selected bottle cover at my prescribed dose?
  • Does the two-month minimum apply to this plan?

Use the answers to compare the exact offer with another provider. A service review cannot determine whether a medication is appropriate for you; that decision belongs with your clinician.
